Understanding Orders
This guide is intended to help you understand order states on Aver.
Please make sure you have read the Order Matching section before continuing.
Please note, this section covers orders using the Pro display mode. If using the Simple display mode, you can view your active bets and past bets on the 'Account Overview' page or under 'My bets' on the betslip.
Once placed, orders remain ‘Fully open’ until they’re matched with opposing orders placed by other participants. Orders can be in one of four states:
Fully Matched
Partially Matched
Fully Open
Cancelled.
You can view your orders in either of these two areas of the application:
Viewing Orders in the Trading Interface
Once you’ve placed an order you can monitor its status or view information about it in the ‘Matched Orders’ or ‘Open Orders’ tabs under the trading module.
The ‘Matched Orders’ tab displays fully/partially matched orders for a given market. For each order you can view information such as:
The selected outcome
The type of order (i.e. buy or sell)
The status of the order (i.e. fully/partially matched)
The order price
The USDC amount staked
The USDC amount of potential profit/liability
The USDC amount of payout
The time elapsed since the order was placed.
You can also share your fully/partially matched order by clicking the share icon on the right. This generates a shareable order modal that can be formatted based on your preferred odds, and shared on any social media platform.
The ‘Open Orders’ tab displays fully open orders for the given market. For each order, you can see the same information that orders in the ‘Matched Orders’ tab contain. The only difference is that you have the ability to cancel your order by clicking on the trash bin icon on the right of the screen.
Viewing Orders in Account Overview
The 'Account Overview' page provides a universal view of all orders placed. Additionally, you have the ability to sort orders by date range or type of event, export your history or search for specific orders.
Toggle the dropdown list under the compressed wallet pubkey button (top right-hand corner of the window) and click on any of the options to navigate tothe 'Account Overview' page.
Go to the ‘Orders’ tab on the page to monitor the status of or view information about all orders placed. The ‘Matched Orders’ subtab displays all fully/partially matched orders. For each order you can see information such as:
The event details
The selected market and outcome
The status of the order (i.e. fully/partially matched)
The order price/odds
The USDC amount staked
The USDC amount of potential profit/liability
The USDC amount of payout
The time elapsed since the order was placed.
